Father's Day Larson 5+ Family Reunion

Our Saga begins in Dallas at a Residence Inn:
Father's Day weekend Sandra flew in from Florida, Amber drove from Dallas, Bob Patty drove in from Decatur and Kevin, Tonya, Avery, Claire came in from Round Rock.
We had 2 ground floor suites the first night. In the morning both suites were infested with ANTS!!!!! millions of ANTS. We moved to the 3rd floor went on with our day came back from the pool on Saturday to discover Kevin and Tonya's suite had no working AC!!!! They moved again! We ended up spending more time moving the 8 of us than we did just visiting! We also discovered that we left behind many crucial items with each move and the last day we were allowed to go in our old rooms and gather up what was missing, the sad thing is none of those rooms were clean and ants were still swarming....
Thanks to a wonderful family we managed to enjoy each other in spite of the hotel craziness! A big thank you to Tonya who negotiated away our 3rd nite's stay, got us a refund and extra Marriott points! Go Tonya!

Our first night: Amber, Sandra and Tonya were going through a box of old jewelry that Grandmom had sent! They loved it and had so much fun dressing up it conjoured up memories of their childhood.

Travis came to visit and a bit of our bad luck rolled off on him.  When he got home the apartment across from his was burning. The fire department had broken his window and soaked his bedroom and bathroom floor trying to keep his roof from catching fire.  When he came by the next evening he looked exhausted. He had been up all night and morning trying to clean up his apartment of glass, smoke and water damage! It took several weeks to get his apartment back to normal.

Getting ready to go swimming!

Moving our princess' to another room

Nana sent a Disney cupcake decorating kit and we used it on a cookie.
Avery spilled the sugar...oh no! lol

Playing cards on our last evening together

On Father's Day we ate together at Texas De Brazil. It is a Brazilian steak house with the fanciest biggest salad bar and servers that come around with skewers of all kinds of tender cuts of meats for the taking!

Saying goodbye to Amber at her Dallas apartment

Bob, Sandra and I headed to Austin because Tonya had bought tickets for a live Drum Corps performance at a Round Rock high school. I chose to babysit...I know I am a giver....buahaha
