Tonya Avery visit and beyond

Happy 3 month birthday Avery!( September 30)
Okay so I have gone overboard on the pictures but I know you will love them.....


On September 10 Papa Nana and I met Amber at Texas Roadhouse somewhere on I-35 and had dinner with her!





September 14-18 Tonya and Avery flew with Amber from Kansas (where Amber flew up the day before to babysit for Kevin and Tonya's 4th anniversary date) to Dallas to visit with all the Tucson family who happened to be in Dallas for 'vacation'. We met Tonya,Avery and Amber at Panera Bread near Love Field Airport.

Tonya and Avery stayed with us at the trailer for a night.

Then we headed to Ft. Worth so Tonya and Avery could stay with Cindy, Julie, Wanda and Harry for a few nights

Tonya, Avery, Papa, Nana and I went to visit Amber's work and show off Avery to Amber's co-workers.

During Wanda, Harry and Julie's visit we grilled hamburgers on our property

The following weekend Amber came to our trailer at Lake Bridgeport and we went sight seeing.

  Some very sad news y'all.... Look what they have done to my truck here in Texas! I now have stickers on the window and Texas license plates...OH NO!

Papa Nana visit and Checking out Mike Debbie's place

September 2008
Mom and Dad have come to Texas to stay with me while Bob is in New York for 2 weeks.
So, mother's $10,000 sewing machine has made the trip with her and as you see, the kitchen table is her domain 14 hours a day 6 days a week! Dad has been fixing and cooking while mom sews away....








We did get her away from the machine long enough to head to Austin to visit with Mike and Debbie and there new place. It is gorgeous they have done so much construction and it has turned out fabulous.

We were fed by the king of the grill.....









The Freeman's came over and we had Creme Brulee and Mike presented the quilts mom made for the kids....





Swam in their pool.....


Took a spin on their beautiful boat...





Even visited Mike's office....



In Mike's conference room, Debbie has set up a bureau of snacks and Mike's office is really a kitchen with a big beautiful desk and patio....(We wander why his business is booming....LOL)

That is that. Thank you Debbie and Mike for a great visit, can't wait to bring Bob for a visit.

Decatur Land

Labor Day 2008 Amber came from Dallas and helped us trim up some trees on the Decatur Land.

Then we came back to Thousand Trails and played some Mini Golf and Rummikub with some grilled Steaks. ummmm

Papa and Nana are here while Bob is in New York we all went down to check out the newly mowed land. How pretty it looks. Makes me want to get a place on it today.
