Disneyland October 2011

Bob and I headed to California to do Disneyland and visit a church in Garden Grove for some LTC promotion.  What we didn't realize was that World of Warcraft was having a convention at the Anaheim Convention Center just steps away from Disneyland!  All the hotels in Anaheim and surrounding cities were booked solid. I finally found a hotel 20 minutes North and East of the park. It was a Best Western Plus and it was packed but so nice for the price I paid and had a great breakfast. 
Below are some pictures of the trip, I had to put them on the blog because Sprint was totally maxed out of bandwidth all weekend due to the convention. We hardly had cell service which at one point was pretty dicey since Bob and I went our separate ways. We finally hooked up at the appropriate time and place.
Enjoy our pictures that we couldn't even share with Facebook. We had such a great time and Bob did so well talking to Newland St. Church of Christ about LTC. He makes me so proud!

Today the candy shop was making our all time favorite "English Toffee"!!

Disney now has an annual pass for Both Parks! And yes, we had to have one!

In California Adventures they had this box you can take a photo in. The only problem was the glare. When Bob posed all the people waiting their turn clapped at his pose. I am not a very good photographer so I couldn't get the right setting in order to get rid of the glare but I thought it was still worth sharing.

Bob got the high score in the Toy Story ride but I beat him at Buzz Lightyear. We emailed that picture to you from the park Kiosk.

The Boudin bakery was actually making Sourdough bread!

This is a water light show at California Adventure! You have to get a FastPass and then stand in line for 2 hours just to stand and watch the 25 minute show but it is SO worth it!

Sunday after church we ate at IN N OUT and they had a really cool outdoor seating area, complete with pigeons. LOL

So that was our California trip! Hope you can come with us next time!
