May 2009 first half

MAY 2009

We started the month in Tucson with a trip to the Sedona area and then to Texas. Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we enjoyed our time making them.

My Mother's Day Breakfast made by my precious husband

We went to church at Mountain Avenue on Mother's Day, the day we left Tucson for Sedona/Verde Valley. This pin that Wanda is wearing was given to her on the day Bob was born

We are parked at the Thousand Trails in Verde Valley across from Etta and Rico.

Some mini golf at Thousand Trails

This is how the professionals put the ball back on the course....

This was supposed to be a friendly game....

We found this fun restaurant in Cottonwood called Acme Pizzaria. The food was good and the decor was great!

Papa Nana and I took a shopping day in Sedona. The Red Rocks are stunning here.
Had to make a trip to Jerome it is always fun to shop there and to hear Papa's stories of where he grew up
The building on the top of this hill used to be a hospital and is now a hotel
This is the house Nono Nona Jackie Papa and Charlie lived in

Benaglio mailbox 141

We went to a fabulous mexican restaurant in Cottonwood and Nana took a picture of my new phone!

We took Bob sightseeing in Sedona one evening after work
..

then had to stop at the Oak Creek Canyon DQ for refreshment

Bob and I have left Verde Valley
This is lava outside of Mesita NM. It went on for miles and was quite interesting.
We are driving I40 this is in Gallup NM and Bob being so happy that I am taking his picture.

We stayed at Santa Rosa NM campground and ate at their Western BBQ restaurant that delivers food to our trailer. We had Brisket and Peach Cobbler mmmmm

I had to go to our property and take a picture of the knee high grass and wildflowers (the brown spots). We are staying at Thousand Trails at Bridgeport.

OKAY THAT IS IT FOR THIS BLOG. ENJOY!
