Here is our Thanksgiving trip to Galveston with Amber Tonya/baby Kevin Avery Claire Rico Etta Bob Patty! Bob and I took our trailer and stayed at  a waterfront RV park. The other's stayed at a waterfront hotel! We spent most of our time at the hotel and even had our Thanksgiving meal in the hotel breakfast room. It was such a fun time being together on the beach. Check out the pictures!

Papa and Nana came from Tucson and stayed with Amber for a few days cooking and playing with Callie!

Heading to the beach!

First order of business is to take Claire and Avery to the beach for the first time!

Hello down there on the beach! Kevin actually ran up this wall, without Avery. Avery found some stairs and wanted to be with her daddy!

Waiting for Thanksgiving Dinner in the hotel breakfast room.  We did all the Turkey and trimmings as a group and then brought them all here to eat together!

We even had fresh flowers!

Kevin and Tonya bought Bob and I two games for our anniversary and we played one of them during dinner.  It was really a fun and revealing conversation starter!

So, Kevin rented a 4 person bike and Kevin, Tonya, Avery, Amber, Bob and Patty rode and took turns walking Claire in the stroller up and down the beach for 2 hours

Friday night we had dinner at Rainforest cafe! Yummy

Saturday, Mike and Debbie joined us on the Ferry ride.

We took a round trip on a Ferry ride

We had lunch at one of the oldest soda fountain and drugstores in Texas called Star Drugs. Good food.  It was also within viewing distance of the Cruise terminal

Avery was tired of me taking so many pictures of her and growled at me.  It happened to be behind a Police News stand.

It was so cold and rainy but we wanted to eat outside!

We finally went inside to enjoy ice cream and do some shopping

Nana Papa Amber had an adjoining door so the girls would come in early in the morning with their clothes under their arms so Nana could get them dressed and ready for the day.

Kevin Tonya the girls Bob and I went to a church in Houston. The worship minister was a former member of Palo Verde so we spent quite a bit of time catching up with him and his family. 

 We had such a great time!  Now on to Christmas in Florida!
